Intex Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 budget Android smartphones launched

Intex Technologies has launched two Android smartphones under its Cloud range.
The Intex Cloud X4 features a 3.5-inch display offering 320x480 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz processor paired with 256MB RAM. There is 512MB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card. The phone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM). The Intex Cloud X4 sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. There is a 1,500mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time. Connectivity options include 3G, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WAP and GPRS support.
The other smartphone launched, Intex Cloud Y2 boasts a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB with the use of microSD card. The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Cloud Y2 also runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with 1500mAh battery that offers a talk time up to 7 hours and standby of 300 hours. Connectivity options on the phone include 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi.

The Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 are priced at Rs. 4,590 and Rs. 6,190 respectively. Both the smartphones are available in two colours, Black and White.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, GM-Mobility Division, Intex Technologies Ltd. said, "Intex sold over 4 lakh smartphones in the last quarter and is planning to sell 3 million this fiscal year. Our latest offerings in the 'Cloud' series offer an enhanced mobility experience to users who demand the best of features and performance from their smartphones and are economical too."
